Terrorists Sentenced 
The group of 10 who were planning to commit acts of terrorism on Kanadorika have been found guilty and have been sentenced to 8 years in prison each.

Killings increase And Government Plans For Minorities 
The number of ethnic minorities killed has increased from 100 to 233 with 53 of those people being kanadorikan. 

Darvo Vengeance has stated the that the government have considered kicking out everyone who isn’t Borlish but may not go ahead with those plans.

Parliament Approves Sanctions Against Borland

Following the recent fascist takeover in Borland and the subsequent civilian attacks on Kanadorikan citizens, the Imperial Senate and House of Commons have jointly passed resolutions that not only condemn the radicalism present within the Borlandish state, but also mandating sanctions against Borland. The sanctions include the prohibition of Kanadorikan imports to Borland, and Borlandish exports into Kanadorika, effectively shutting off the newly founded fascist state from the world's dominant economy.

The Lord Konsul Annikki Kivistö declared during today's Senate meeting that "These sanctions are only the beginning. Further acts of violence against Kanadorikans or those associated with our Empire will be met with retribution."

The Kanadorikan embassy in Borland remains open, however it is receiving an increase to its security in light of the recent violence.

Borlish Send Back Ethnic Minorities
Borland sends back all ethnic minorities to their nation of origin, if they have no citizenship to another nation they have their Borlish citizenship revoked and told to leave or be arrested.

Darvo Vengeance Responds To Kanadorika
The Borlish Great Leader has stated that the Borlish government DOES NOT kill minorities, Darvo has stated that he is disgusted at this accusation as the Borlish government would never kill anyone without justification. He also told Kanadorika to stay out of Borlish airspace.

Darvo Vengeous Will Save Borland

Despite Kanadorika believing that Darvo is ‘vile’ the Borlish people strongly believe that he is Borlands only hope and will bring greatness upon the Borlish Ethnostate. The people of Borland believe that he shows great leadership and will bring Borland to greatness through his brilliant new projects such as Borlands first motorway, the Borlish upgrade from L2(3G) to L3(4G), and the Borlish upgrade to fibre optic cables among many other projects.

The Borlish citizens believe that Darvo will bring glory to the Borlish state and assert the Borlish people as the master race in Borland. They strongly believe that he is the best leader Borland could hope for and that Kanadorika is completely wrong about him.

Darvo Changes The Prison System
Darvo has decided that the prison system in Borland is ineffective, he has stated that people who have already been in prison for over 21 years will be released today, he has decided that prison should be more based on reform and has therefore decided that the quality of life in prisons should be improved to allow for meaningful rehabilitation, prison sentences will be limited to 21 years for the first offence of any crimes, reoffended will have this limit lifted however if they end up back in prison. Darvo believes that it would be helpful to make people who go to prison ready to come back to society when they come out rather than just locking them up forever.

Attempted Assassination Of Darvo And His Response
A prisoner who was released under Darvos new release rules attempted to and failed to assassinate Darvo, he shot Darvo in the chest 4 times but Darvo was wearing a bulletproof vest.

The person who attempted to kill Darvo was publicly executed in their home town, Darvo has decided that the new law is stupid and has decided to revert to the old prison system, all inmates who were released due to Darvos prison change will be recaptured and executed.

Darvo has decided that the death penalty will be reintroduced, and has announced the closing of 2 Borlish prisons to save money, inmates in those prisons will be executed.

It is estimated that Darvo has now ordered the death of over 15,000 criminals.

Death
Darvo orders the killing of all 60,000 of the remaining prisoners, the 100,000 kept in concentration camps and the 450,000 minorities waiting to leave the country. A total of 610,000 will die. They will all be immediately sentenced to death by shooting, hanging or any means available to Borlish soldiers or police nearby.

Darvo has decided to go into hiding after this decision to avoid death or capture

Due to the swift and joint actions of the army and police force, 100,000 of the people sentenced to death have been killed, that leaves around 500,000 left to die. Darvo requests that any civilians with guns or other weapons join in the massacre.

The death tolls continue to rise as the new Supreme Leader of Borland, Darvo Vengeance, orders the wonton killing of minorities within the land. Innocent people all over the nation have taken to hiding as the military has been authorized to kill any of these stranded souls. Images of the innocents being executed by many means shocked the Palace today, leaving the Empress and Princesses with sorrow and anger within their hearts. Deaths Reach 150,000
Deaths reach 150,000 and videos of people wearing grim reaper outfits and gas masks swinging sythes around and killing tens of people in one swing begin to circulate. It is believed these videos are coming from concentration camps as a supposed government organisation named the reapers kill up to 100 people in one video.

After a brilliant coming home ceremony for the 88th Jager regiment, the men of Task Force Shield, and Joint Task Force Stazawaka, Galavaria can now be assured that their new frontier is safe and open for business. In a statement to the nation by King Brandt, he coined the name for the new lands, “Grobestal Province”. With the commissioning of this new province, it is highly likely that a new noble will be nominated to take the position, and speculation is rampant as to whether King Brandt will promote an existing noble or christen a new one. As always, we here at GNN will keep you posted with all the latest gossip.

Racial Dispute in Michu

On the 2nd of October, Genje Alca Manji, a local Weishun man, was shot four times by Han Liaoju, a Zheng police officer, in his hometown of Huangcan. Genje, who was attempting to break into his grandmother’s house, was shot at three in the afternoon, as Liaoju ‘critically misunderstood the situation’. Genje, seventeen, was rather infamous in the local area, for his eccentricity. Details about the case came out in the emotional court case, which suggested that Genje had forgotten his key, and was attempting to deliver crucial medicine to his grandmother, to treat her long standing diabetes. Without this medicine, she suffered relentless pains, and testified as such in the trial. The court heard the case between the 15 - 20th of October, and was presided over by Baoli Alca Cansi, a prominent Weishun, and three men, two of which were also Weishun, were extraordinarily harsh to Liaoju throughout the trial. After the second day, mobs on both sides of the issue converged on the courthouse, and the sleepy, destitute Huangcan was swamped with politics. Genje was lionised by the Weishun protestors, and denigrated as a degenerate by the Zheng. Despite this, the court continued, and initially delivered a death sentence. This exceptionally harsh judgement was justified on the basis of the precedent of Clan-Killing, a legal standing in which it is a deep offense to kill men involved in a clan, to prevent inter clan rivalries and blood feuds, that had been prevalent in antiquity. As well as racial status, the court determined that Liaoju committed the act out of his racial hatred, violating the Imperial Constitution. Finally, the court asserted that by attacking a Weishun, Liaoju had insulted the Emperor, who theologically ‘possesses’ each and every Weishun in the Empire, thus, the murder was in fact, treason. Liaoju’s defenders became outraged at this, and threatened to overwhelm the courtroom. In light of this, Baoli attempted to calm the crowd by bestowing a still harsh sentence of life imprisonment upon Liaoju, which was unsuccessful. The local Banner troops were tentatively mobilised, as it was feared that the Zheng civilian peace would advocate on behalf of Liaoju. The accused gave a short statement to the press before being hauled away to prison “The Emperor delivers injustice upon all Zheng, this is nothing new or special.” Surprisingly, he issued this statement blankly, without emotion, and maintaining dignity. To the Zheng, he was a martyr of the longstanding Imperial system of discrimination and inequality, and these words swiftly became the motto of the movement. While criticism of the Imperial system is permitted, direct attacks on the Emperor and their family is considered improper, if not illegal. However, the Imperial government has chosen not to escalate openly, despite the calls by prominent Weishun nobility to ‘suppress the bandits’. The Imperial Household responded to the crisis officially, stating that ‘The universal peace and prosperity fostered by Imperial Rule demands the total, equal submission of all races to create harmony.” While the Imperial Household has been relatively quiet on the issue, Zheng social influencers, including those based in Xinmei, have expressed support for Liaoju. Both political parties in Michu expressed condolences for Genje, though the Yanxu Party, widely regarded as the more conservative faction, dedicated a moment of silence for him.

Government Evacuate Southern Four Provinces
The Karqanbwe Government have announced the evacuation of civilians in Chetara, Kumnima, Swaliha and Lobita Provinces over alleged new strains of Ebola

According to a government spokesperson for the Ministry of Health, "We have begin evacuation of civilians in the four provinces due to new strains of Ebola."

He went on to claim that in multiple town and cities, people have tested positive for Ebola and are dying because of it.

"Local hospitals and clinics are completely paralysed due to rebel activities in the region," he continued, "Civilians in the region are given 7 days to evacuate to other provinces."

"Situation in other parts are only slightly better and we are still in desperate need of medicine and medical supply" He went on to claim.

The Karqanbwe government have requested medical supplies to the International Red Cross.

While the region is well known for having Ebola virus in the past but the government have also used "new strain of Ebola" as a way to stock up on medical supplies for the ruling elites.

The timing of the evacuation could not have came at a better time as there are an increasing international blacklash against the government.

Inside Castle Brandt, 4 hours after Ninhundland’s News Broadcast

The “War Room” as it has become colloquially known among Staff officers familiar with Castle Brandt was packed with men both military and civilian. A dull roar echoed across the room as men argued with each other over what should be done next. Soon the dull roar turned into an yelling match as multiple personalities clashed. Members of the military wanted nothing less than to prepare for a full scale attack from Ninhundland, and begin the process of Galavaria’s own military buildup. Many members of the Council of Lords dismissed these ideas outright, and proposed opening diplomatic channels immediately as a sign of good faith. In the end, a hybrid approach would be taken, by order of the King himself. The army would begin the mobilization process, and the airforce put on alert. A Ninhundish representatives presence in the capital would be requested immediately by Brandt Personally, as told in the following letter:

To the highest offices of the Ninhundish Kaiser,
I respectfully demand the presence of someone representing your word in Varbrook with as much haste as can be mustered. This blatant act of aggression on the border cannot stand, and must be answered for. 3 days after the Ninhundish broadcast, November 26th, 1500 hours

A pair of F-16s, up in the sky due to the heightened tensions, fly’s at a cruising speed on a vector paralleling the border several miles away. For the Pilots, it was a completely boring flight, and they spent most of it chatting amongst themselves over their radios. All this would change when they would get a pair of radar contacts, moving fast for the border not far from their position. Unsure if what they were seeing was right, they elected to call the AWACs aircraft overseeing their sortie.

“Birdcage this is Eagle, I got two bandits moving fast to the border on my radar, how copy?”

Aboard the E-3G aircraft with the callsign “Birdcage”

“Copy Eagle, tracking. Stay on 'em, we’ll attempt to hail.”

“Nest this is Birdcage. Tracking a pair of Ninhundish fighters vectoring aggressively to the border, requesting more assets be put in the air to combat.”

There was a heavy silence on the aircraft as they waited for a reply.

“Copy all, will task 1 flight of Panthers”

Nervously, the Radio operator looked to the officer on duty, who quickly came over and motioned him out of the radio operator’s seat. Donning the radioman’s headset, he tuned to a channel the Ninhundish fighters could hear.

“Unidentified Fighters, you are about to enter sovereign Galavarian airspace. Turn away now or be shot down.”

The plane returned to silence. In that silence the radar operator watched with horror as the fighters continued over the border into Galavarian airspace.

“I’ve got two contacts over the border, moving fast!”

He yelled into his intercom

Slamming his fist down on the radio console, the officer cursed

“Damnit! Don’t those fools realize what they are doing?!”

He keyed the microphone again

“Unidentified Fighters, you are now within Galavarian Airspace, turn back immediately or you will be shot down.”

While this was going on, the pair of F-16s began to maneuver aggressively against the Ninhundish Fighters, and put in a request to shootdown if they failed to respond to hails from the Fighters. The E-3 would break away from its mission, and rendezvous with a pair of F-35s that were taking off from an airfield in Central Galavaria. A second E-3 would quickly take its place, to maintain the battlespace for the F-16s. The Kriegsschloss was informed of the situation, and members of the Chiefs of Staff rushed over to Castle Brandt to brief the King on the situation. This would accelerate plans for mobilization, and approve the ISR mission proposed by the military. Called OPERATION: PAPER JAM II, after the first ISR operation of its kind against Ninhundland, it would go into effect immediately. It entails a full surveillance mission against Ninhundland from SIGINT to MASINT and everything in between. Recon wings would fly at high tempo to collect as much intelligence as they can. The first sorties began on November 27th. The fighter component of the air force would be put on high alert, and more energetic and routine flights would take place along the border. As of the Evening of the 23rd, The Galavarian Armed forces were preparing 3 corps level units to be staged in fighting positions along the border with Ninhundland. It's that time of year again!
It's that time of year again! Schwobenland has began the build up to the festivities of Christmas! People are beginning to decorate their homes with vibrant lights and golden tinsel! Aswell as this the Christmas tree in Uberlandia city centre has been put up! Shops are teeming with people doing their Christmas shopping and everyone is starting to get into the spirit! This year the Mayor of Uberlandia has decided that there should be a Christmas challenge in Uberlandia, (OOC- This is clearly for kids pls dont judge me lmfao) Santa lost his presents! Whoever finds the most lost presents and returns them to the Santa Claus in Uberlandia city centre will get a reward! The winner will be announced on Christmas day!

Winter Solstice

While Christmas is not recognised as an Imperial holiday outside of Guangxi, much of its social meanings have been transferred to the Winter Solstice. The traditions of gift giving and familial togetherness, that are traditionally associated with the Day of Great Auspicion (Anniversary of the Great Zhi) have molded. The Emperor of the Great Zhi performs many rituals throughout the day, appeasing the spirits of the ancestors, and conveying the favour of heaven upon the people of the Empire. Since the reign of the Huanzhou Emperor, the Imperial Household Department has released a short memorandum, on behalf of the entire Imperial Clan, customised to each year. The actual text is devised by a system of drawing lots, each member of the Imperial Clan’s highest echelons, Princes and Princesses, are selected randomly to compose the text of the announcement. While the writer is anonymous to the general population, there have been occasional leaks to the public by former servants, and several communities have formed on Michise social media attempting to decipher writing patterns to each member of the family. This year, the style is very formalised, betraying little alternative messages, though contains a relatively bleak lack of emotion, suggesting that it was either composed by the Tenth Prince Duanxi, or the Seventh Princess.

“In the twelfth year of Shensheng, the Empire and the Dynasty retain the fervent loyalty of the people and of the heavens. In appropriate gratitude, and with utmost humility, the Empire mandates that each citizen celebrate modestly, in line with Imperial tradition, and filial piety. Within the Imperial Palace, the Winter Solstice is an important, dramatic affair, during which, the Imperial Princes host a cavalry competition for the entertainment of the Princesses, as well as their own wives. Prospective men of the Weishun banners, seeking wives among the Imperial aristocracy, will seek to impress with their martial skills, as well as poetic knowledge. The Emperor themselves shall attend, with many prospective men attempting to woo the ultimate prize, perhaps this year, one shall claim the Emperor’s heart.
