The original beloved flag has finally been changed! A fresh, new look to the island's profile, citizens feel a regained pride for their island home. "I can't believe that they changed the flag after such a long time! It's certainly refreshing, I think it's inspired heaps of us to start renovating our own homes for the benefit of the island." says Sina Mahi’ai, an owner of the largest farm on Fanuafi. "The new flag definitely is a cause for celebration, go and prepare the umu for some boil-up and palusami!" she later goes on to say. Islanders throughout are ecstatic with the new change, although a good umu always needs an excuse to have your friends and family around to celebrate!

Not only have we found these Royal Guards, but also those of which they had their only purpose for, the Royal Family of the formerly recognized Empire of Aztlan. Yes, you are hearing this correctly. We got them. With that we have more details with our reporter on the ground.” The television would go black for, but a mere second before it then displayed up you a young reporter of Eyjanic descent, seemingly fresh out of College and or University. After performing recon the Quick Reaction Force was joined by a lower battalion of Territorials. After a quick stand off the royal Guard revealed their true identity and surrendered their arms, but not before alerting our most valorous to the presence of the Royal Family so that they make he taken under the merciful wing of LEN as their nation had collapsed around them. Unfortunately, I was not and can not secure a interview with the members of the Royal Family, but I can confirm all of them were not harmed at all and extracted to a nearby airfield that I am not at liberty to disclose the location of, but I can assure you all at home that Emperor Maximilian Adolf Iturbide VI, Empress Mary Lancaster I, Crown Prince Wolf Franz Iturbide III, Princesses Alicia Iturbide II and Amelia Iturbide, with the Princes Frederick Iturbide and Walter Iturbide are being taken care of with the upmost hospitality that this League of Etharian Nations can offer. Out of the choices of surrendering the ships to the League of Etharian Nations, scuttling the ships, scrapping the ships into steel, or placing them in the dry docks so that they may be allowed to be used after a reunification has occurred. After a most brilliant display of our Naval Aviation capabilities with our state of the art Fifth Generation Fighter Jets the Aztlan Navy promptly agreed to the last option all their ships were dry docked, after a brief storming of the Mayor’s building the City capitulated to LEN Peacekeeping Forces due to our mercy, grace, & naval power. A little after this began to occur Aztlan found itself splintering into three main factions, all vying for power.” As he spoke a corner of the screen became engulfed in a video of a Saber Joint Strike Fighter taking off from one of the Archangel class carriers, specifically the flag carrier Uriel.



“These being the Provisional Government of Aztlan backed by the Kanadorikan government, the Vaterland Front backed by the devil like Ninhundish who just a couple months earlier invaded their own ally in the Duchy of Morong, and the Xinmei Republic who seems to be rather independent. As these factions formed our disarmament efforts began to face severe resistance from the Vaterland Front who refused to surrender their weapons. Let it be known that LEN is not calling for the surrender of the Vaterland Front or even its settlements, not even calling for them to surrender themselves as POWs, only their weapons. Despite our most reasonable request and terms the Vaterland front has been uncooperative leading to the LEN Collective Action Force to sire individual military bases and other population centers that have been identified to have an armed presence.”

“This lead to perhaps the most controversial action taken in this intervention yet, the Siege of Temazcaltepec, the bloodiest engagement yet. It started on April 4th when the Seventh Naval Tactical Fighter Bomber Squadron made a fly by over the city, transmitting the ultimatum for the city’s garrison to surrender their arms. The LEN forces were denied a peaceful and quick resolve to this and thusly took to surrounding the city with the First Royal Marine Division. The siege went on for two weeks, at the end of the twelth day a ambitious attack in a attempt to break the siege began with air support from Ninhindish Supplied Fourth Generation fighter. Fortunately for our brave Peace Keepers the Seventh Naval Tactical Fighter Bomber Squadron sortied to intercept, using their long range air to air missiles and advanced radar systems to down the enemy squadron of five before they even picked them up on radar due to the Saber’s stealth capabilities.” As he talked the Air engagement a video of the event appeared in the corner of the screen once again.




“After the use of White Phosphorus against the attackers alongside heavy artillery and air support from the Joint Strike Fighters the attackers routed and Temazcaltepec surrendered. The total casualties were 28 LEN Peacekeepers killed, 354 Vaterland Militants killed, and 609 civilians killed in the Siege. Unfortunately the casualties don’t stop there as a further 42 Peacekeepers were injured, 1,028 Vaterland Militants injured, and 2,228 civilians wounded. Fortunately due to our most gracious mercy and forgiveness the LEN forces began to rebuild and provide supplies to the people as LEN began to bury the dead. By mid April a second wave of LEN forces were deployed to Aztlan with a more humanitarian goal as the constant sieges began to get taxing on the civilian populations of Aztlan.”

More and more sieges with similar results kept occurring till where we are here now, independently Peacekeeping a substantial part of the Northern Aztlani Coast whole having the occasional skirmish with the Vaterland front as these Sieges drag on day by day. The top priority for our peacekeepers is the seizure of the city of Tzintzuntzan after they refused to surrender their arms. This siege has been going on since the majority of Task Force Plum arrived in May 21st. Currently the 21st, 1st, 7th, 4th, and 3rd Marine Divisions are the main units sieging with the majority of Task Force Bakelite in reserve.” As he speaks a video of some fighting from the ongoing Siege of Tzintzuntzan.

This man is named Ferdinand Repoch and he has been holding mass prayers in all houses of worship in an attempt to bring peace back to Aztlan through the power of the one and true God, God.” As the reporters speaks pictures of the man who was talked about appears and then disappears after a few seconds as if it was a slide show.

After half a second he answered. “The Patriotic Vaterland Front, they have seized my factories and put them to making war materials and cause further destruction of both my business and our home (Aztlan) by refusing to disarm to International Peacekeepers.” Shouting could be heard in the background as the Senor looked behind him to see a trio of devilish Vaterland Militants, bear immediately the Peanut mascot jumped off the cliff at a great speed before he opened his umbrella above his head, slowing his descent.



Once he reached the ground safely he began to take fire from the evil Vaterland members. The peanut jumped behind some rocks and pulled out a Ambi Rifle of his own, returning fire to the militants above before he ducked his head back under as a hail of bullets rained down on his cover.



“Remember, resistance to the Vaterland Front is the patriotic duty of all Aztlani.” The ‘commercial’, if you can even call it that then ended, the screen returned to the news reporter of which spoke to you the news before the break. “Thank you, Señor Cacahuete, for your service and may God bless you.” Yhukon Saenamuang said in complete seriousness to this piece of animated propaganda before looking dead at the camera. “What you saw right there was part of the New Commercial series from the Señor Cacahuete’s corporation currently being aired in the Aztlán. The Señor Cacahuete Corporation alongside nearly a dozen other Aztlani Companies have begun to run anti Vaterland Front ads after the LEN Peacekeeping efforts expanded with the arrival of Task Force Plum. In completely unrelated news Aryavata has announced they will be joining us (the Lan Na) in Peacekeeping efforts in Aztlan by sending six thousand of their soldiers under Task Force Slab by the end of this week alongside further elements of the a Naval Infantry Korps. Hopefully together we shall stand against the barbarians hordes with their arms in our hands. In some economic news the Phxng Mining Cooperative has set up shop in the Ezharian community of Blue Town, a subsection of Msdahl-nahr. The Phxng has funneled nearly two billion Krona into buying up local mines and expanding operations in order to not only enrich the Blue Town, but also to find sapphires which have been found in the blue town before. The Phxng Cooperative was granted a five billion krona grant last month in order for constant shipments of sapphires for the glass of the Saber Joint Strike Fighter production line. Just north of Ezhara the Halal Foods Concern has bought up nearly all of the chicken farms and processing plants in Þenagach for about two billion krona. After four hours of careful and rigorous examination and testing it was declared real with the Ministry of Faith declaring this a miracle for all to see.” As he speaks images of the so called miracle watermelon are shown on the screen for a full dozen seconds before it fades away.

Okay, but is this even important enough-, fine.” The reporter smacked his lips and looked back at the camera. “In rather trivial news our sources within the Ministry of the Navy tells us that the Angel Class Nuclear Ballistic Submarine, the Ariel, has reported cut or generally lost contact with the the Submersible Komponent of the Naval Deterrence Apparatus of the Lan Na Ministry of the Navy.”

The Ministry of the Navy has refused to comment to another one of our reporters.” The reporter didn’t seem to care all that much and seemed to blow it off as if it was nothing as this is could just but a rumor they picked up from the Ministry. “And with that comes the end of this news segment. Thunder over Frankdorf

Beginning Friday this weekend has seen a period of very active weather, with the arrival a large low pressure system coming in from the northwest. The northern coast got to receive 20mm of rain by late Friday with more coming down on Saturday.

“What we are seeing here is the convergence of multiple systems, as we look at weather models. This cold wet pattern clashing with the warmer air to the south of the country. Since this summer has started, we have seen a more active weather pattern with a much stronger cold from pattern as if you can remember, cold weather was extended well into May and even early June for some locations and thus we have had a colder and wetter year, a far cry from previous recent years where due to climate change, record highs have been reached in summer. This however isn’t an outlook for the rest of the summer we see in the models, temperatures are expected to rise starting Tuesday. These types of active weather happen all the time, it is just that this one is particularly large and is bringing more rain, wind, etc with it.”

With strong winds causing trees to fall, this weekend has been quite the eventful one of millions of Ninhunders. There have been no recorded deaths as it is not an immediate emergency however weather alerts have been put out for specific locations as this time of year is when many people go outside and beaches are crowded as people enjoy the summer weather. This is also a very popular tourist season but for those wondering if this weather will keep up, forecasts are showing a ridge of high pressure expected to come in by Wednesday bringing warmer and sunny weather, however we will be seeing more days like this until then.

In a slight change of events although thought to be related to the storms affecting large parts of the country, the northern region of Küfenheim has seen well below season temperatures as frost, yes you heard that right, FROST has been an occurrence for residents outside the largest city in the area, Bresler.

A week of well below seasonal temperatures brought in part by the Polar Vortex has caused frost to appear on the ground. The Polar Vortex is a large suction of very cold arctic that makes its way south and while it is usually associated with winter when it brings long periods of sub frigid temperatures reaching below -30°C, it can happen at any time of year. While it is not freezing cold, its effects during the summer as shown can bring much colder than average weather as -3°C was observed in Küfenheim while Bresler, the capital city of the region had a temperature of 2°C this morning.

At 10:03 today, a moderate 5.3 magnitude earthquake was felt by the 250,000 residents living on the largest island, Fanuafi. A large bulge has started to form on the eastern side of the island's larger volcano, Tafetotoi Lagi. Residents have all gathered at the southern port outside Fale, the island's capital. Roughly 35,000 families have already been evacuated to Malutai, people only taking a small suitcase each, filling every boat to the brim. Many of the locals have already taken their boats to try and leave the island, but an estimated 100,000 still waiting to be evacuated, both ports in Fale and on Malutai are jammed, people trying to leave.

Many people fear that they will not be evacuated, but stuck on the island itself. This could be an emergency situation, so upmost caution should be taken.

EMERGENCY. A large volcanic eruption occurred today at 7:58, causing a 9.2 magnitude earthquake. A substantial plume of tephra shot roughly 25 kilometres into the sky, and a large amount of ballistics was ejected from the volcano's mouth. Lightning has been spotted the within the plume of ash, striking the ground which is hazardous. The bulge previously spotted yesterday has fully collapsed and formed massive pyroclastic flows. Large chasms have opened up between the two volcanoes, exposing lava and essentially creating a third volcano. These chasms have opened up throughout the island of Fanuafi, destroying many important buildings and homes. The 80,000 people who were waiting in Fale to be evacuated could not make it as the port's infrastructure had failed, and have unfortunately been lost or presumed dead. Many people had tried to use their boats to escape, but at least three quarters could not make it. At this point, it is too dangerous to go on a rescue mission, as the volcano is still active and ejecting debris and oozing lava through the many chasms. The geothermal power plant has exploded, toxic gas being released, creating a wave approx 3 metres thick which has suffocated the panicked livestock.

The people who are taking refuge in Malutai are being evacuated to Aotaruo as there is a high risk of more volcanic activity potentially destroying more homes. The capital building of Fale has collapsed, along with many homes and lives. There is a large risk of tsunamis, near nations should be prepared. The tsunami is predicted to reach the beaches of Aotaruo, and nearby coasts of many countries, also that Malutai will be flattened. If citizens can't be evacuated in time, head inland or to the nearest high points on land. Head to the highest points you can get, bring bottles of freshwater, bedding and warm clothes. You will not have much time to prepare, but bring as many survival tools as possible. It is advised that you bring food too, as it is likely that more earthquakes will occur within the next hour.

TSUNAMI AT FANUAI

THIS IS AN EMERGENCY.

THERE HAS BEEN A TSUNAMI. GET YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY TO SAFETY. HELP THOSE WHEN YOU CAN, YOUR NEIGHBOURS AND ELDERLY. THE ENTIRETY OF THE LAA MA'A ISLANDS HAS BEEN SUBMERGED. FALE AND MAUALOLO HAVE BEEN COMPLETELY DESTROYED. DEBRIS IS MOVING AT HIGH SPEEDS, APPROXIMATELY 10,000 DEAD AT THIS POINT IN TIME. A FURTHER 75,000 PRESUMED LOST AND/OR INJURED. THIS COULD BE THE LARGEST TRAGEDY IN FANUAI IN RECORDED HISTORY. FANUAI HAS REQUESTED AID FROM AOTARUO AND VARIOUS OTHER NATIONS. THIS SITUATION COULD GET MUCH WORSE.

Thousands people in multiple countries were killed today when the most powerful earthquake in 40 years triggered huge tidal waves that hit coastlines across the Hezrana Ocean. The death toll is almost certain to rise further as the full extent of the devastation emerges. Tourists, fishermen, hotels, homes and cars were swept away by walls of water unleashed by the 9.2-magnitude earthquake, centred 8 miles south of Fanuāfi island.

Among the worst hit were the communities in the Laa ma'a island chain in Fanuai, who were hit by a tsunami caused by the earthquake. 6 and a half hours later the tsunami hit Aotaruo, with waves as ranging from from 16 ft to 30 ft. Eyewitnesses often compared the tsunami heights with the "rainy season high tide"; although at most locations, the tsunami height was similar or smaller than the "rainy season high tide" level. Currently, there have been 78 deaths confirmed by authorities, with hundreds more missing.

Just earlier today, a massive tsunami hit the island nation of Fanuai and Autaruo. Fanuai itself also experienced a volcano eruption. The Nanhan Government sends there condolences to the victims of the natural disasters in both nations. Just now, the tsunami have reached the coast of Nanhan flooding parts of Huhang and Weiya.

The tsunami hit the coast of Nanhan at about 4pm Nanhan Time. 5 hours after the volcano eruption in Fanuai. Parts of the cities are flooded, some as high as 1 storey high. The tsunami that hit the southern coast was 13ft - 20 ft. Fortunately, no deaths have been recorded but about 30 houses have reportedly collapsed. Rescue workers from the rest of Nanhan have been sent to the Southern Coast to search for those who have been trapped in their home.

"I was just relieved that my family members are still alive", said Mrs Wang after rescue workers found her children under her collapsed home. She was working at her office when the tsunami hit the coast of Weiya. The government states that they did not expect to have a tsunami at this point of time and did not prepare emergency shelters for the disaster. The government also states that they will be investing more into preventing deaths from natural disasters.

Following the earthquake, eruption, and the tsunami that has devastated the small island nation of Fanuai and has shocked the world, thousands of emergency workers battle against waterborne diseases such as cholera and malaria, working around the clock as OCEMA and OCDPC authorities begin setting up temporary shelters in the unaffected areas of Fanuāfi and Malūtai, distributing clean water to drink, and assisting in search efforts for missing people.

OCEMA has already released crucial information on the situation in the form of infographics which are being widely distributed.

Today in lisuothga many military teams have been sent to deal with the tsunamia crisis. Most rubble has been cleared and shelters are beggining to open again. Commonwealth Gemes Postponed due to Tsunami and Volcano Eruption

Eearlier This morning, the Nanhan Commonwealth Games Council have announced that the commonwealth game will be postponed from 1 August to 10 August due to the tsunami which hit nations across the Hezrana Ocean. The council chairperson states that saving lives is much more important than having sports. Afterall, Fanuai is also part of the Kanadorikan Commonwealth and we should support our Commonwealth Friends.

Together with the postponing of the Commonwealth Games, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announces that 5 billion krona worth of water, rice and medical devices will be sent to the island nation of Fanuai in response to the recent volcano eruption and tsunami which devastated the nation. Nanhan will also be taking refugees from Fanuai. Nanhan's Foreign Minister, Lin Jinwen, states that the people of Fanuai would be taken care off like our own kind. Stadiums not used for the Commonwealth Games have been allocated to be used as makeshift shelters for the refugees before moving to a more permanent location. Thousands of volunteers have also volunteered themselves to help those families who lost their homes or lives. The Minstry of Defense have also announced that a hospital ship, NHS Huyi, will be sent to Fanuai as well to treat wounded as fast as possible.

With all these supports, the Prime Minister of Nanhan wished Fanuai will be even better after the massive rescue effort and will be able to participate in the Commonwealth Games this August.

Ever since the end of the Revolution in June this year, President Wang Yifei and Prime Minister Lee Mankai have been living in the Pheonix and Dragon Palace. The new Presidential Palace is located in the Eporan styled, Sucang District in Suceng. It is called the Lokasson Villa (罗卡森别墅) named after the first residents of Jindou. The renovation of the villa have added new rooms to the villa including a basement to operate secret military operations and other usages.

At 7:00 am this morning, the Nanhan President and Prime Minister gave a press conference to praise the beauty of the villa and the work the renovation workers puti n to make the villa even more beautiful. The Government have been openly discussing it since June 2020, yet only to reach a deadlock, even within their own parties. The Opposition is knocking on their doorstep too. Ever since the recovery of the Leader of the Opposition, the Government have been trying to ignore the Opposition and their bragging, but as time flies by and the new polls come in, there can no longer be silence by the Government, so here we are, the National Assembly discussing about the preservation of cultural values, a mediocre issue in the nation, however still important as many are watching the conclusion of the Assembly's decision to propose it or not.

The Grand Duchess herself have expressed interest in the preservation of cultural values in the Country, before moving on towards issues regarding healthcare policies and the high budget going to the Police and the Military.
