The Incorporation of the Ruots

The political annexation of the Ruots was hundreds of years in the making. With Noremacia becoming a modernising power in the region, its western influences from Kanadorika and Keaa clearly set it far in front of other neighbouring nations. By 1780, the Ruots had fallen behind technologically and economically. In 1780 an accord was signed by the king of Ruotsa (Ruotsaland to the Ruots), Antard Vestin, that dedicated it as a state of the Empire of Noremacia, which had been officially unified in 1767. The Kingdom of Ruotsaland would be divided into two separate states, East and West Ruotsa, to be governed by the unified empire of Noremacia, to correct the misguided direction of the Ruots in their advances. The Ruots always had a tendency to be more aggressive than the Noremacians, a habit that today is portrayed to higher crime rates and lower socioeconomic status' in the two states. King Antard of Ruotsaland was also reluctant in splitting his state. Upon his death his two children, Kori and Frida, would inherit one title each. At the time, Noremacia was ruled by Atanerk (Emperor) Ambarlo II "The Wilful" Who united the States of Noremacia. When Antard died in 1796, the state was split and Each Child became a king and queen respectively. Frida Vestin became Queen of East Ruotsa and Kori Ruotsa Became King of West Ruotsa.
